The pitcher and one of the six cups I made for My friend. Unfortunately, the pitcher melted in the kiln. You can't really see it from the picture, but it's melted. Literally, the clay melted. This is a perfect example of Murphy's law. I've only had things melt like maybe three times in the last four years, counting this. I was really upset when I saw it I was working fast to get it done in time for my friend, I got them to move it up the line to get in the kiln in time and then to see it melt. It was to be a wedding present for my friend's friend's wedding. a little confusing perhaps. Anyways, anyways... The other stuff came out real nice and we did get five good cups (one of them returned with a chip on it's rim so I'm really glad I made six). The coffee cup represents a set of four that I made. I had some extra clay lying around so I made them, not enough for a proper set which is five, so I'm hoping to sell them as individual pieces.
